Thou we have seen and tried restaurants from the French brasseries north of Ku’damm to small cafés in Köpenick. This article does not include them all and is more personal than a complete guide. It will undoubtedly lead you away from a lot of things that could be excellent suggestions – but you might find something unique and new. By the way, if you have the time, go further out to Spandau or Köpenick, small towns embraced by greater Berlin.

Grab a beer and a döner, But make sure you don’t bring them when you move on to check out Schneiderladen, the synteherziser heaven, a truly historic pease of turf for synth enthusiasts in an area vibrant with memories of David Bowie’s, Depeche Mode’s, Iggy Pop’s. U2’s and countless others recording and leasure time legends.

At night the opportunities are endles. The city actually has a number of centers and downtowns with different characters.
